Fire Permits
Fire permits are required from 1 September to end of March (the season may start earlier if fire danger is high). At all times you must notify the RFS — via rfs.nsw.gov.au — and your neighbours, at least 24 hours before lighting any fire.

Become a Volunteer
The Brigade welcomes new members, and becoming a volunteer firefighter is easier than most people think. Training covers bush firefighting, village firefighting, first aid, chainsaw operation and more.
