Anyone interested in volunteer firefighting. Training covers bush firefighting, village firefighting, first aid, and chainsaw operation.
When
Ongoing volunteer brigade. Annual events include the Get Ready Weekend (August), the Christmas Eve Santa Run, and Australia Day at the foreshore.

About Coomba RFS
Coomba Park Rural Fire Brigade is the local volunteer fire service, ready to respond to fire and other emergencies in and around the village. Becoming a volunteer firefighter is easier than most people think, and full training is provided.
Outside emergencies, the Brigade also runs community events through the year. Fire permits are required from 1 September to the end of March — see the Emergency page for the full lighting-a-fire rules.
